For filters smaller than 1 m diameter use 70% grade 1 and 30% grade 2.
For filters larger than 1 m use grade 3.
PPG glass filter media is one of the best glass media currently on the market.
The glass is first washed and disinfected and then carefully broken into the desired shape and size.
Furthermore we make sure that no sharp glass splinters can get into the glass media and that the organic load remains below 400 grams per tonne.
PPG glass filter media is produced from mixed glass.
This glass media from PPG filters better than sand because it accumulates less micro-organisms.
